A Full-Day Adventure at Cheow Lan Lake

The day starts early, with arrival at the pier at about 08:30. From there, you travel by traditional longtail boat for about one hour. During the ride, you enjoy emerald-green water, towering limestone cliffs and dense rainforest.

Jungle Trekking Through the Rainforest: Around 10:00, the active part of the adventure begins. The walk includes about 3–4 hours of hiking in total. You cross the rainforest and rugged natural terrain before you reach your destination. This tour is for travellers who enjoy walking, nature and outdoor activities.

Lunch Before the Underground Part: You enjoy a packed lunch in the area around the entrance before you start exploring. After lunch, it is time to go inside and discover the underground world.

Explore Nam Ta Lu Cave: Nam Ta Lu Cave extends for more than 600 meters and feels very different from the shorter caves around the lake. Inside, you discover impressive limestone formations, stalactites and stalagmites. Water is also part of the experience, which gives the passages an adventurous atmosphere. Together, jungle trekking, water and underground exploration make this one of the more active adventures in the area.

Back to the Lake: After exploring, you return to the longtail boat. There is time to swim or cool off in the lake before you travel back to the pier. You arrive at about 16:00–17:00, where your transport can take you back to your hotel.
